Who We Are

Kids in Kenya began in 1997 as a non-profit organization dedicated to building schools in Kenya.  Between 1998 and 2008 Kids in Kenya sponsored the construction of three primary schools, beginning with Lanet Umoja Primary School in 1999 and followed by the Teacher's Primary School in Kiti in 2001, and The Lord's School in Kampi ya moto in 2003.

Our Mission

The United States was founded on the principle that knowledge is a key to freedom and that an education system, operated at the local level, is an excellent way the citizens can access this knowledge.  With the love of Christ, our goal is to promote education and training for children in Kenya through participatory partnerships with local leaders and citizens by building self-sustaining schools that support community development, quality education and a better life.
